Love O’s Chocolate Protein Smoothie

This protein-packed smoothie is the perfect post-workout fuel. It is the perfect combination of protein, good carbs, great fats, and then Love O’s add the perfect crunch. I am all about the crunch, so smoothies are always better in a bowl topped with Love.

Ingredients

1/2 cup ice
1 frozen banana, sliced
1/4 cup walnuts
3 brazil nuts
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/4 cup coconut water
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon hemp seeds
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 scoop protein powder (I love Paleo Protein Powder)
1 tablespoon pure cocoa powder
1/2 cup Love O’s (or Chocolate and Strawberry Power O’s)

Directions

  1. In a blender add ingredients in order.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding more liquid if necessary.
  3. Pour into a bowl and top with Love O’s and enjoy.
