Environmentally positive and delicious

Anyone with a passing concern for the environment is offended by the environmentally offensive non-biodegradable K-Cup. And, the tastes of the coffee produced by all of the K-Cups I have tried leave a great deal to be desired. I love the Love Grown coffee, both the decaf and the dark roast. I am grateful to have found an eco-friendly, clean coffee that is free of pesticides and mycotoxins that tastes great! I usually buy the bags of ground or beans, but if you use a Keurig, I also tried and highly recommend using their pods!

I am somewhat new to coffee, having been a tea drinker for much longer. Just learning to navigate the world of “clean coffee”. I had no idea coffee could have so many harmful properties. As I’ve learned more, I seriously considered giving up on coffee and going back to exclusively drinking tea. Then I found the Clean Label Project’s list, and Love Grown is at the top. Finally a coffee I feel safe drinking. And it’s good! I’ve tried the dark roast and find it milder than most dark roast coffees I’ve tried, which is fine. It still has that dark roast quality, just not as intense. I’ve brewed it with an aeropress and chemex, expecting the taste to have more punch with the aerobrew, but it was about the same. Not a bad thing, as I like consistency. I’m learning about acrylamide in coffee, and would love to see steps to reduce or eliminate it, but Clean Label Project mentions light and dark roasts have the least acrylamide, so I’ll be sticking with that. Overall, a great coffee and I would recommend it to anyone!

Coffee: We start with premium Parainema beans tested rigorously for purity. As a result, all of our coffees are free of mold, pesticides, and BPA. Our coffee pods are made with plant-based materials, not plastic. Love Grown coffee is also low acid (we test at a PH of 5.5). The result? Delicious flavor, rich aromas, and coffee that makes you feel good.

What makes our cereals unique is how simple and intentional the ingredient lists are. The first two ingredients in every cereal are our proprietary bean blend and brown rice flour—nothing artificial or engineered.

Power O’s Original has just four ingredients: our bean blend, brown rice flour, salt, and vitamin E (for freshness).

Our flavored cereals—like chocolate, cinnamon, and fruity—add only a few more essentials such as cane sugar, cocoa or cinnamon, natural flavors, and a touch of salt. For color in our Fruity cereal, we use real vegetable extracts. We also use sunflower lecithin, a natural emulsifier made from sunflower seeds through a gentle, chemical-free process.

We do not use any of the top 9 allergens as ingredients in our cereals (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, or sesame).
