Why We Love It

We’ve loved Dr. Bronner’s organic and certified Fair Trade soaps since we first tried them and are over the moon about their new refill cartons. They use 82% less plastic overall than the current 32 oz Bottle and 44% less material overall. Once you’ve bought the standard bottle, set up an autoship subscription for this recyclable refill carton and cut plastic out of your cleaning routing.

How to Use

You can literally use this soap for everything and anything: face, body, hair, dishes, laundry, pets, and more. For facial cleansing, use 2 or 3 drops on to wet hands and lather away. For laundry, use 1/3-1/2 cup of soap for a large load in a normal washer. For even more ideas, check out Lisa Bronner's Dilutions Cheat Sheet.

Recycling

Good news! Rinse the carton and recycle the carton in a curbside bin. The plastic cap is recyclable through TerraCycle by following our special instructions.

These are general guidelines for broadly-recyclable materials. Check with your local recycler to confirm what they take.

Dr. Bronner's

Known for their iconic labels and cultish following, household name Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation master soapmaker and activist. He used the labels to spread the message of our transcendent unity across religious & ethnic divides: “We are All-One or None!” Still family-owned and run, Dr. Bronner’s honors their founder’s vision by making socially & environmentally responsible products of the highest quality—and by dedicating their profits to help make a better world.
