We do not use any of the top 9 allergens as ingredients in our cereals (milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, or sesame).

Our cereals are made in a facility that also processes products containing these allergens. Because of that, we follow strict cleaning and allergen-control procedures before our products are made. While these controls are designed to prevent cross-contact, we want to be fully transparent that the facility does handle other allergens.

This independent non-profit organization rigorously tests our cereals for contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers, and we meet their strict safety standards. Organic certification is costly, and while it offers some assurance, it only certifies the farming practices and not the finished products.

There isn't anything I don't love about this cereal

There isn't anything I don't love about this cereal...I will never go back to regular cereal again! The best part is when my 23 month old grandson comes over and the first thing he does is go to the cabinet and pulls out the box and says "cereal please...chocolate ones" and I feel good about giving it to him.

Guilt free cereal

Such a wonderful addition to my little ones breakfast rotation! We always stay away from cereal due to high sugars and terrible pesticide residues, but we can happily let him eat these without any guilt! He loves to mix the chocolate with the fruity stars! 10/10

So happy it’s available again

I started feeding my daughter your original love grown Os when she was tiny now she’s 11 and it is still her favorite cereal. That’s actually the only cereal she will eat so when I couldn’t find it in the stores or online, I was very sad. I’m very happy to seeit available it available again.

Blessing abound with a crunchy cocoa snack

I am autistic and gluten free. Very allergy friendly the main allergens being legumes, rice and sunflowers. I bought 12 expired boxes for $12.

The cocoa gives it a strong chocolate taste like Oreos. Being autistic means the crisp crunch resonates in my brain until my happy spot is overloaded. Overall it is chocolate and a crisp crunch. Thank you for making food that I can eat 😊

Love this!

I picked up a box of Chocolate Power O’s randomly when they were sold in my local grocer. I love the taste and mostly knowing it is made with healthier ingredients with more protein than my normal cereals. I was so disappointed when these went out of stock but bought a case of the “expired” ones which have been perfectly fine and lasted through to them being restocked at Hive! So glad they are back on regular basis and hope they never discontinue!!

New recipe is not the same

I also echo similar comments. I really LOVED this cereal BEFORE the changes they have made this new 2025 batch/recipe. This new 2025 batch is way different than the previous version (which I have been eating for years). I wish they would go back to the old recipe :( this new version is not bad but def not as good as it was

I really LOVED this cereal BEFORE the changes they have made. This new 2025 batch they have changed the recipe and the portion size it seems and not for the better.

The taste is completely different than it was before and now I'm quite disappointed even though it's still good but not close to how it used to be. It looks like the portion sizes are in smaller bags now than before. Please go back to how it was before 2025, these changes are a clear downgrade.

With this said, I don't believe I'll be purchasing anymore of this cereal as it is now a completely different cereal. Only until they revert the changes that have been made, then I'll be a returning customer again.

Dear Hive, I do think that they do have plenty of flavor in them but I myself am not a big chocolate fan. They did improve the flavor which is good. I give them out and every person I give them to they love it. Thanks for asking Paula Barone

They changed the recipe

My son and I have been eating love grown o's religiously ever dove whole foods carried the brand. We even ate the expired cereal whole we desperately waited for it to be in stock again. Now we are both less than satisfied with the cereal. I can't tell what it is, but the taste and texture are different. It's more crunchy and the taste is off. He basically doesn't want to eat it any more.
