While Love Grown cereals are not currently organically certified, we went a step further and are the only cereal certified by the Clean Label Project. This independent non-profit organization rigorously tests our cereals for contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers, and we meet their strict safety standards. Organic certification is costly, and while it offers some assurance, it only certifies the farming practices and not the finished products.

Not a Fan of New Formulation

I purchased Truly Fruity Stars thinking it would be identical in taste to the previous Fruity Star cereal. Unfortunately, for me, the taste was quite different and more reminiscent of bubble gum. I'm sure that's a perk for some consumers, but I was disappointed. I also missed the more textured and varied color of the previous fruity stars. These new ones seem to be encased in a sugar shell. Sadly, both the flavor and texture were a turn off for me, but I was expecting something similar to the previous version. New consumers may not react the same way.

DELICIOUS & CLEAN LABEL CERTIFIED

Such a wonderful addition to my little ones breakfast rotation! We always stay away from cereal due to high sugars and terrible pesticide residues, but we can happily let him eat these without any guilt!

This cereal is good. I would like it a little better if the sugar was lower and protein higher.

I am truly impressed with this cereal -- it tastes absolutely delicious.

Despite not having a ton of sugar in it like the junk from Post and Kellog's, it is sweet "(just sweet enough" is a perfect description). And it is fruity.

The ingredients are healthy, including the vibrant purple color that comes from purple sweet potatoes. It'll turn the milk purple, which kids will like, and it'll do so without those artificial dyes that are so bad for their health. I can't believe the major food makers are using petroleum-based dyes like Red No. 3 and Red No. 40 when purple sweet potatoes are an option.

I just stumbled on this cereal by accident yesterday (at a Prime Bins store) and tried it for the first time. I feel very lucky. I just had to look up the company to see what else it makes.

It is pricey, especially given the amount of cereal inside the box. I do wonder why healthy food always has to be so expensive. It's made with beans and sweet potatoes. Hard to believe those ingredients would drive up the price.

On the bright side, at least people who pay that amount won't be disappointed.

Taste is not as original

Taste is not as original, there’s salt bits in some and others not. Unfortunately it seems like there has been changes to the original cereal which we loved.

This cereal tastes sooo good and is healthy for you. I bought the 2 types of chocolate and the berry. It also stays crunchy in milk. My Yuka app gave this cereal an excellent score. I wish it was sold at local stores though.

Not the same taste, but still good!

The original Love Grown Fruity Sea Stars was my favorite cereal ever. I’m so glad this still exists, but the flavor really is different. Almost has a banana extract aroma. Still live the ingredients and how it stays crunchy in milk.
