Is Love Grown coffee mold-free and toxin-free?

All of our coffees are mold-free, pesticide-free and BPA-free. 

We start with premium Parainema beans tested rigorously for purity. Our coffee pods are made with plant-based materials, not plastic. The result? Delicious flavor, rich aromas, and coffee that makes you feel good.

Love Grown Coffee is the first and only coffee brand to be Clean Label Project certified, rigorously tested to be free of mycotoxins, pesticides, microplastics, and other contaminants.

What makes Love Grown Low Acid?

Our coffees test at a 5.5pH. By starting with coffees grown at lower elevations (higher elevations means higher acidity), then roasting them carefully, we create a lower-acid coffee without sacrificing flavor depth or quality.

How many servings are in a bag?

Each 12 ounce bag of grounds or whole beans typically makes up to 24 cups of brewed coffee. The exact number depends on your brewing method, grind size, and personal strength preference.

How do subscriptions work?

Is Love Grown Coffee certified Organic?

While Love Grown coffees are not currently organically certified, we went a step further and are the only coffees certified by the Clean Label Project. This independent non-profit organization rigorously tests our coffees for contaminants like heavy metals, pesticides, and plasticizers, and we meet their strict safety standards. Organic certification is costly, and while it offers some assurance, it only certifies the farming practices and not the finished products.

Are your coffee pods plastic-free and compatible with Keurig machines?

Yes, our pods are 100% plastic free! The coffee pods are wrapped in a cellulose-based material that looks like plastic but is 100% plastic-free and compostable. They're individually wrapped for freshness (and smell amazing when you open them each morning!).

Our pods are compatible with most Keurig® machines after the first generation. For best results, follow the specific instructions for your machine.

Clean Coffee that makes a mean cold brew

I'm almost exclusively a cold brew drinker, and have been seeking something that is more affordable than going to the coffee shop and free from toxins - because I drink a lot of coffee. I tried Love Grown because of their testing, but once I brewed my first batch of cold brew I fell in love. It's delicious! I pair it with Elmhurst and my morning is good to go.

Such a great way to start the day!

I've been trying different clean coffees now that I'm more aware of the toxin issue, and really enjoyed this one. It has a smooth, balanced flavor with no bitterness. I really like that Love Grown shares exactly where it came from. Definitely a winner :)

Very, very good tasting!

Would like to know if coffee is tested for mold as well as being organic. Also where is it from? Which someone could make a completely plastic free pod. Hate how yours are wrapped in plastic. I don't just want plastic in my coffee but not in my landfills. Otherwise it's great. It makes good espresso grounded down.
