Whole Bean Coffee

I'm almost exclusively a cold brew drinker, and have been seeking something that is more affordable than going to the coffee shop and free from toxins - because I drink a lot of coffee. I tried Love Grown because of their testing, but once I brewed my first batch of cold brew I fell in love. It's delicious! I pair it with Elmhurst and my morning is good to go.

Love Grown for A Thousand Years

Fuller flavor than your medium. So nice to know that it’s not full of contaminants. Pricey, but worth knowing that it’s a better grade of coffee.

Love how rich it smells when I open the bag. I prefer bean because I think it's fresher. This coffee is delicious and easy on the stomach. 😊

I don't care for your decaf so I'm canceling the order.

Addenda to recent review - I would award 5-stars if LoveGrown uses UPS. The last mile or entire handling for delivery to me is the US Postal Service not exactly known for proper handling of food items. Despite LoveGrown boxes my whole beans, all is for not in the hands of USPS.

LoveGrown Medium Roast Whole Bean is nicely credentialed. I appreciate "clean" and "pure". It's all about source, handling and process. Despite roasting on the east coast, I still receive the beans seemingly fresh. A wonderful roasted bloom emerges when opening the bag each time. Honor the process by keeping the beans in its original pouch storing in a dry place. Bleed the air each time through the built in purge button. Do not defeat LoveGrown's process and handling. It is essentially up to you to find the optimal grind and extrude the intended flavor profile. Get a quality steel burr grinder. Get a good brewer that allows setting water temperature and distribution to allow adequate blooming. I found my ideal grind, water ratio and brew temperature. These factors are in your control, not LoveGrown. The result is real coffee that has an initial dark chocolate note with a hint of cinnamon. The finish is smooth and silky carried through an evident roast. Coffee is a craft. Bean cultivation, shipping, roasting, packaging are essential to the craft. LoveGrown gives me the opportunity to hone the craft. I look forward to each day affording time to my craft.
I would award 5 stars if shipping were either free or less expensive. Even free if after 3 months of recurring orders. But you've got to run a business.

I absolutely love this brand. I was skeptical at first because every coffee company promises their product to be the best, but non-compared to love grown coffee. And besides, how can you say no to their advertising? A lady with a big smile talking about the product like she actually believes in it without any hype or advertising gimmicks, so I put in an order. It arrived well packaged, smelled fresh, looked great, and it tasted amazing. As far as bitterness goes, that is solely going to depend on how you prepare it. I use stove-top mocha style coffee maker, and I never taste any bitterness. I tried their chocolate cereal, too. Top notch!

Excellent taste

This is a very smooth and non acidic coffee. I ordered and tried both the Dark and extra Dark beans. I liked both but thought the Extra Dark stood out as a little stronger taste.

It is too weak to be considered extra dark. It tastes thin without any of the body or taste notes that I would expect.

I’m on my third bag of Love coffee beans now and loving every cup!!! I tried dark roast which is awesome and extra dark roast and decided this is the one for me! Such a delicious cup of coffee full bodied and the flavor yum!!!! They don’t bother my stomach which is amazing! I highly recommend this coffee!

Flavor & incredible prices!
We have been trying different mold free coffees and finally found our home. LOVE the flavor. I did find the medium is not as robust as other coffees but no problem at all. We are excited to try the dark roast and we might just combine the two.
