We Brought Cold Brew to the Fancy Food Show (in a Backpack)

We just got back from the Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center, and we brought a backpack that pours cold brew. No really, we did.

Why a backpack

A booth stays put. We didn't want to.

Ours has a reservoir, a hose, and a spout, no pump or cord required. That meant our team could walk the aisles pouring samples instead of waiting behind a table for people to find us. Most conversations started the same way: "Wait, is that coming out of your backpack?" We were so happy that everyone was as excited to see us as we were to see them.

The reaction

We ran out of cups.

People loved the cold brew, faster than we planned for. That's the kind of problem we don't mind having.

Old friends, new friends

The best part of a show floor.

We caught up with Sour Milk, Burlap and Barrel, and Spicewalla, and met Pop Mustards, Kolkata Chai Company, Milkadamia, Painterland Sisters, and Love Corn.

Where should the backpack go next?

We'd love to hear your thoughts. Send us a note at hi@lovegrown.com if you have any ideas.

A quick recap from our time at the Fancy Food Show.

Thanks to everyone who stopped and tried a sample.
